So the pounds have started creeping back on and you have been putting off acknowledging the fact that it’s time to lose that weight.  It’s never fun and the majority of the time it’s never easy.  In this article I will share with you 6 proven fast weight loss tips for knocking off those pounds.

I only like to share tips that have been proven to work and that I have tried myself.  I know everyone’s bodies are not the same and people lose weight differently.  Or shall I say some not as quickly as others.  These tips will definitely do the trick no matter what problems you have incurred in the past.   

1.  Set your goals and stick with them but make them realistic.  Don’t put a deadline on yourself for dropping the weight if you know that there is no way you can achieve it.  That will just put too much pressure on you.  Don’t use that as an excuse to quit, just take this journey one day at a time.

2.  Cut down on your portion size and spread your meals out so you are consuming five meals a day instead of just three.  You will actually start feeling fuller which will cut out the overeating.  This one took me a long time to actually conquer because it’s sometimes not very convenient.  But the end result is definitely worth it.

3.  Plan your meals ahead of time so you don’t get caught off guard.  It’s not fun to find yourself in the middle of the day with nothing scheduled to eat and the only place around is a fast food joint.  Be prepared.

4.  Drink plenty of water because it not only will help you stay hydrated but will also help cut down on hunger pains.  It really helps stop you from overeating.  

5.  Try your best to fit some sort of exercise into your daily routine.  Personally, I just take a 30 minute walk each day and find that it really does relax me.  It’s my time to reflect on what I’ve accomplished during the day or what I have to look forward to.  Even if you only have time to walk around the block it’s better than never getting out of your chair.  You can also walk up and down the stairs when you are going to your car or whenever you find a staircase nearby.  You will definitely start feeling so much better when you start moving.

6.  Don’t eat late at night because it’s been proven that your body doesn’t have enough time to work off the energy which means it will only store it as fat.  It’s been proven time and time again, even if you are eating healthy.  I prefer not eating anything after 7:30, that’s my cut off.
