The former member of the Destiny Childs band Sunday night won 6 Grammy Awards among 10 Nominations. She became the first female artist to win so many prizes in the Grammys’ 52-year history.
The Grammy Awards 2010 took place in Staples Center, Los Angeles on January 31. The R&B singer continuously came to stage to receive awards for Song of the Year with for her anthem “Single Ladies”, Best Performance Female Artist for ‘At Last”, The Best R&B song for “Single Ladies”, The best R&B Album for “I Am…Sasha Fierce”, best female Pop vocal performance for “Halo” and Best R&B singer. The 29-year-ld made a record for winning 6 big awards.

Beyonce was followed by the princess of country music Taylor Swift with 4 Grammies among the eight nominations with “Album of the Year”, Best Female Country Vocal Singer for song “White Horse”, “Best Country Song” and “Best Country Album for “Fearless”. The princess of country music moved when she reached the stage to achieve her first awards as it was her first Grammy Award.

The Black Eyed Peas also had 3 in Grammies in total 6 nominations among which was Best Pop Album for “The E.N.D”.
Along with impressive performances of Lady GaGa and Pink, the Grammy Awards 2010 left out minutes to commemorate about the King of Pop music Michael Jackson. Paris and Prince, children of Michael Jackson, received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” on behalf of their father who died in June last year. Bother Prince Michael expressed his proud of his father and sent thanks to fans for their support.

At Grammy Awards 2010, 5 famous artists Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Usher and Carrie Underwood sang together in a special 3D tribute to Jackson.
