Camilla Opens Up About Her Affair With Prince Charles
During an interview with The Mail, Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall recalled the consequences surrounding her decades-long private relationship with the Prince of Wales, an affair that took place while Charles was married to Princess Diana and Camilla married to Andrew Parker-Bowles. “It was horrid,” the royal confessed. “It was a deeply unpleasant time.” Camilla added that life seemed to go on for everybody else, while she felt like a prisoner. Nevertheless, she chose to remain positive. Camilla remained married until 1995, and Charles and Diana, who separated in 1992, officially divorced a year later. Despite the media storm surrounding the affair the two married in 2005.
