Can thin semen and low-pressure ejaculation affect my chances of impregnating my wife?

Can thin semen and low-pressure ejaculation affect my chances of impregnating my wife?

You asked some really good questions. You want to know what can affect a man’s fertility or ability to have a baby. You mentioned specifically the consistency of semen as well as the force at which it comes out. Both of these things, it’s hard to say if it’s really going to affect your ability to have babies or not. Really the only thing you can do is get married, try to have a baby, and if it’s not working out do know that most couples take about six months to get pregnant if they’re actively trying. If you’ve tried for a year without success then it’s time to do testing. At that time the doctor would test the semen and also test different things with your wife and determine what the cause is. If it’s a problem with semen, most likely the problems with semen can’t be seen or noticed by the male who is having issues. It usually has to do with sperm count and the semen may look totally normal but there is just not a lot of sperm in there because semen is made up of a lot of different things in addition to sperm. The body releases a lot of different things with it to help increase the motility and different things in the sperm. There may be a low sperm count or they may not be good swimmers, those are the two most common problems that males have. Again, you don’t know that until you’ve tried to have a baby. If you’d like to go into a doctor now and have testing done that’s the only sure or definitive way to know if there are issues but just by looking at semen you can’t necessarily tell if that’s the problem. Here are some tips when you guys are trying to have a baby. You need to time intercourse with ovulation. Your wife releases an egg once a month most likely, as long as she’s been having regular cycles or periods. Ovulation usually happens about 14 days before she is going to start her next period. Say she had a 28 day cycle from start of one period to the start of the next; she would most likely be ovulating around day 14. That’s when her body is releasing an egg that can then be fertilized by sperm. You need to time sex with ovulation. Basically if you don’t want to think much about it you’re likely to time this right if you have sex every other day, so every two to three days after she stops having her period and this should hit it just right. Again, if you’ve tried for six months to a year and you want to go to the doctor and have things checked out they can do some additional testing, for sure by a year go in and see a doctor. Hopefully that’s not the case, you don’t have to deal with that and that you guys have a baby when you’d like.
