Depending on the time of year you choose to take your short break in Rome, you could save significant sums of money, or you could be at a disadvantage. If you really want a cheap meal you should look no further than the many pizza joints who serve up slices of pizzas for a few euros. Pick your pizza, pay and consume it while you go. If you prefer to sit down to have your meal you must be prepared to pay at least 10 euros for a lunch with drinks.
