Family, friends pay last respects to actor David Phetoe
Legendary actor David Phetoe has been described as a gentle soul who was passionate about the entertainment industry.
Family, friends and colleagues gathered at the Anglican the Cathedral of St Mary the Virgin in the Johannesburg CBD for his funeral. The 86-year-old was best known for his role as Paul Moroka on the SABC Sopie Generations. He died at the Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital last week after a long illness. Phetoe will be laid to rest at the Lenasia cemetery south of Johannesburg.
