Paralympian Tanni Grey-Thompson: the 2012 Games will showcase the UK as an inclusive society

In our ‘See Britain’ film, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE talks about her experiences as a disabled person in the UK, and comments on how far the country has come in 35 years by providing disabled facilities and improving access. She says “The 2012 Games will showcase what the UK has achieved for disabled people both on and off the track” and that the UK today demonstrates what an inclusive society can look like.

The Foreign Office has launched the film to marks two years to go until the London 2012 Paralympic Games on 29 August. Tell us what you think using the comment facility below. To watch more of our ‘See Britain’ films, visit www.fco.gov.uk/seebritain.
