Permanent Weight Loss is Now Easy!

The cause of the obesity epidemic we see today has finally been revealed. There is now proof that the condition can be cured….Permanently, without a diet, without exercise and without hunger.
In the past decade we have reached a point where sixty percent of the population is overweight, a large number of them are obese, and of those, many have contracted type2 diabetes. These statistics increase almost daily. Obesity has gone from virtually unknown, to an epidemic, in just a few decades. This is a major disaster, it is increasing daily and it has to be stopped.
Never before have little kids started school…Obese. Just recently, on our TV screens, we saw with horror, a newborn baby….obese. If we don’t stop it, soon such news will not even get a headline. Some futurists believe it is inevitable that people will eventually accept obesity as a normal standard. That almost suggests that genetics are at play and that just doesn’t wash.
Forty years ago an obesity problem would have been considered ridicules. Today it has become normal but there is no way this is caused by genetics. This has the hallmarks of human intervention written all over it.
Like so many things, it began in the late sixtieths to early seventieth. New fads abounded and there were some people, who practiced on the in the fringe of pseudo medicine, who carved themselves a niche in health and nutrition. They were not doctors or scientists but they set themselves up as guardians of health and nutrition.
What gave them this legitimacy? A new thing called cholesterol. This was a lucky break for these aspiring wannabe experts. Most people, at that time, would have shown a very high cholesterol count, largely due to a diet which had changed very little for centuries.
So the ‘experts’ adopted cholesterol as their base of authority. They added together the two types of cholesterol, the good and the bad. The good cholesterol, HDL, cancels out the bad LDH. The difference is your true cholesterol count. So by adding the numbers together, the ‘experts’ produced a meaningless, but very high score for just about everybody. They had discovered a huge cholesterol problem with the population of the day, which required their intervention. They had found their credibility along with a huge customer base. All they needed was a product….A diet
A highly publicized diet was launched soon after, with a poster of a pyramid depicting the various food groups. The base was 30% carbohydrates solids. Next were levels of fruits and vegetables, also carbohydrates. A new, young generation thought; ‘finally some modern advice about food, instead of the boring fare that grandma recommends.
The diet did not undergo any legitimate scientific tests or human trials to support the claims that this was the ultimate healthy diet and should be followed by everyone, regardless of body size.
The credibility of that pyramid, lasted for around twenty years, and at least two generations grew up on it. Parents trusted the experts. But sadly, these were not experts and their diet was very far from healthy. Not only did it recommend a total of more than 50% carbohydrate, it advocated only a small amount of protein. Protein is the essential building blocks for kids to grow up healthy and there was no recommended age limit on that diet.
Literately millions of kids were nurtured on that pyramid. When they went on to become parents, they passed it on to their children, and ensured that they too followed a diet so badly thought out, that today it is vilified today around the world. So now we see little kids start school already obese, and we open our morning newspaper to find an enormously fat newborn baby on the front page.
There are some very disturbing questions here; like when did it become necessary for every person on the planet to follow a diet? When and why did that become standard? It’s time we get some facts and come to our senses. Natural foods are not innately good or healthy. If they were we would be using arsenic and opium poppies as a side salad.
It is time to put some restraints on what can be recommended to the public as a healthy diet. Rules govern everything else we put in our mouths, yet food not only has no restrictions, it undergoes no tests, no human trials or any of the safeguards placed on just about everything else.
Let’s see some scientific tests and some properly conducted human trials before self proclaimed experts can launch a diet on the market. After all, the food we eat is the most important factor to our physical and mental health. Yet, right now it is in the hands of people who are unlikely to have either a medical or a science degree and who are still promoting false information and calling it scientific.
Those who do have a legitimate medical or science degree, and actually practice this untested nonsense, should be ashamed to admit it, because frankly, they should know better. Diets, if they are at all necessary, and there is every indication they are not, should at least be tested in a lab under scientific condition to prove they actually work… long term. They should not be exposed to a public who become human guinea pigs for Voodoo theories.
This obesity epidemic is unnecessary, it is outrageous and it must be stopped while it is still possible.
