Most people who are overweight always try to find an “easy way out”, in this case, quick ways to lose weight. Yes there are ways to lose weight fast but they require dedication and perseverance mentally and physically. All the following steps which are seen below must all be taken into account if you expect to see swift results in the losing weight department of your life. I have come up with the three “R’s” to use as quick ways to lose weight.

Really Drink lots of water

Generally, the average human being is supposed to drink approximately eight glasses of water a day. If you want to lose the weight quickly, this is would be a great starting point. Drinking water at this quantity is not only a source of body cleansing, but it makes you feel that much more full when you actually start to eat your meals. When you begin to eat lunch (for example) you’ll probably be half full already because of the water in your system. This means that you will automatically consume fewer calories and hence, weight loss is guaranteed. Please don’t drink over twelve glasses of water, it isn’t healthy for your body because the excess water will overwork the liver.

Eat three meals a day daily, but if you’re hungry in between, a good idea would be to drink water. Although this does not involve exercise, it requires discipline and self-control. This is one of the best quick ways to lose weight.

Run On Weekdays!

It doesn’t have to be on weekdays but at least five times a week. Make a plan to run for an hour a day. Whether you run or walk, whichever you prefer, as long as it is done on a timely basis. This is important because not only is it great overall for your entire system, but it helps you become a more active person in life as a whole. Bring an iPod with you (or a any portable music player) and play music as you run to make the experience more enjoyable. Inspirational music would be a great choice to run to especially if it has a tempo that makes you walk/run to the beat.

Reduce the portion size

Having a smaller portioned meal compared to what you’re used to is very important. A good idea would be to get the portion of food you usually eat, then divide it in half with your spoon/fork, afterwards then put half of it back into the pot. Doing this on a consistent basis at first won’t be easy but after some time you’ll feel more confident because you know that all those calories that you have been putting back could have added up into fat in your body. It’s obvious that the smaller the portion size, the faster the results but since it is harder for people who are completely addicted to food, taking away half of every portion is a great start. This is one of the proven great quick ways to lose weight.
