Physical activity should play a very important role in your life. Exercising regularly can reduce the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. However, knowing all of this, many of us still choose to ignore all of the studies and continue to believe that exercise has nothing to do with our health.
We use many different excuses in order to stay as far away from physical activity as humanly possible. We may say that we are intimidates, we don’t have the time, we don’t want to waste our time waiting on slow results, we don’t have the money to pay for expensive gym memberships, and last but not least, we don’t have anyone to exercise with. All of these are merely excuses. The reason behind these excuses is actually the main cause behind our hate towards fitness. The truth is, the biggest reason behind our sedentary lifestyle is lack of motivation. If you are not motivated enough to get started, you never will! All of the other excuses, such as lack of time, can be fixed, but motivation is not something that you can work into your schedule. Many people don’t have the right motivation because they have unrealistic goals. They want to lose 30 pounds and they expect to lose the first five during the first week. Setting short term goals (for instance, to lose 5 pounds) and being aware of the fact that healthy weight loss means shedding 1 to 2 pounds a week, can help you understand the mechanics of exercise. Once you achieve your short term goals, your motivation will skyrocket.
Additional weight loss aids include all natural diet pills, delicious nutrimelt shakes, and nature-created herbal remedies. So don’t be afraid to approach weight loss, just make sure that you remain realistic about the results.
