Free and Low Cost Internet Marketing Methods
There are many ways that you can market your business or opportunity on the internet. Some of these methods are completely free, while others are low cost. Remember, however, that some free methods are quite time consuming, and your time is worth something. Always evaluate the method to determine how free it really is before starting. Here are the three most successful free and low cost internet marketing methods.
1. Online Classified Ads. These ads are almost always free. Some sites require a small fee for placing the ads in certain categories, such as job ads or business opportunities. Other sites may charge small fees for optional features for your ad, such as keeping it at the top of the list for several days or weeks, bolding your headline to make it stand out, or other features. All in all, some sites such as Craigslist and Backpage will allow you to get tremendous results from very little internet marketing effort.
2. Article Marketing. If you can write your own articles and use the internet well enough to submit them, article marketing is completely free. If you have to outsource it can cost a bit, but not nearly as much as print media. Basically you post articles in article directories. People search the directory, or even the internet, for your keywords and find your articles. As your articles are syndicated, or published in other websites and blogs, you will gain even more exposure. It is a great way to get a lot of marketing power out of one small effort.
3. Email Marketing. If you can afford a small monthly fee you can use Aweber to send out automatic emails to your subscribers and keep your marketing efforts going even while you sleep. The important thing to note here is that your autoresponder has to be used in conjunction with other internet marketing efforts. You have to drive traffic to your subscription or lead capture page in order to have anyone to add to your email marketing efforts.
