What Do Women Really Want From Men? Confidence and Communication
What do women really want from men? I’ve been asked this countless times so I’ve decided to put it in article form. There are lots of things women seek from men such as comfort, love, and intimacy. But there is a lot in between that some men unfortunately forget about, so that’s why I’m here.
Unfortunately, sometimes the lines get blurred and it’s hard to figure out what exactly someone wants from you. This can be especially frustrating, especially in dealing with women. Confidence and communication are two of the most important tools a guy can posses.
Confidence comes in many forms but the main idea is to present a positive image of yourself while putting others at ease. Confident people are trustworthy and reliable, so be those things. Smooth talking and lying are in no way useful, in fact all those probably do is destroy your confidence.
Don’t be afraid to look people in the eye while talking to them (be polite though, staring is creepy!). Women especially like it when a guy is able to hold a conversation and look at them in the eye, it makes the conversation genuine and mean something. If you’re trying to get a girls number never underestimate the power of smiling and making eye contact.
If you are talking to a girl don’t be afraid to engage those around you in conversation. This shows that you’re not intimidated by her friends or other people. Trying to single a girl out and lock her away from her friends puts her on the defensive, so don’t do it!
Don’t confuse confidence with cockiness. Cocky guys like to have fun and make themselves look good at the expense of others, that’s not fun for anybody–so don’t do it. Being arrogant works for the guys in the movies, but it’s not going to work for you. So don’t put on an act, and don’t be a jerk–the only attention you’re going to be getting from women is rejection.
The ability to communicate with a woman transfers from the beginning stages into a healthy long-lasting relationship. You can’t have a good relationship without communication. Being able to talk to each other from the beginning is not only going to help you get into the relationship, but keep it alive.
When you’re talking to someone, especially a woman, be sure and listen to whatever it is they have to say. Make conversation based off the answers to questions you have asked. Women are going to notice that you’re paying attention to what they’re saying, most men don’t.
